Russian non-alloy steel production volume decreased by 4.3%

According to Rosstat, in February 2025, metallurgical production decreased by 4.5% compared to February 2024.

Russian non-alloy steel production volume decreased by 4.3%

In January–February 2025, metallurgical production decreased by 3.2% compared to January–February 2024.

In February 2025, the production volumes of non-alloyed steel in ingots or other primary forms and semi-finished products amounted to 4.4 million tons, which is 4.3% lower than in February 2024 and 6.4% lower than in January 2025.

In January–February 2025, this indicator reached 9.1 million tons, which is 1.6% less than in January–February 2024.

The production of finished rolled products in February 2025 amounted to 4.5 million tons, which is 8.4% lower than the February 2024 figures and 8.0% lower than those for January 2025.

In January–February 2025, this indicator amounted to 9.4 million tons, which is 4.3% less than in January–February 2024.

In February 2025, 1.0 million tons of pipes, hollow sections, and their steel fittings were produced, which is 3.8% less than in February 2024, but 11.2% higher than the figures for January of the current year.

In January–February 2025, this indicator reached 1.8 million tons, which is 4.2% less than in January–February 2024.

In January–February 2025, this indicator amounted to 33.2 thousand tons, which is 2.3% less than in January–February 2024.
