The company reported a challenging first half due to weak global industrial demand and export pressure from China, though a recovery was achieved in the second half through efficiency measures and pricing strategies.
Group revenue for 2025 fell 3% on a reported basis y-o-y to EUR 3,366 million. Adjusted EBITA (earnings before interest, taxes, and amortization) was recorded at EUR 373 million. Following strong cash generation, management proposed a total dividend of EUR 1.80 per share.
As part of its regionalization strategy, RHI Magnesita announced the creation of the "META" region, covering the Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa. It was stated that recycling projects in Türkiye are progressing and that circular solutions will enhance regional competitiveness. The company also strengthened its position in the North American market through the acquisition and integration of the Resco Group.
Evaluating the results, CEO Stefan Borgas noted that despite difficult market conditions, operational improvement programs delivered sustainable performance growth in the second half of the year. It was highlighted that the company's recycling rate reached a record 15.9%, with significant progress in digital transformation and sustainability.
While expecting market conditions to remain challenging in 2026, the company forecasts adjusted EBITA to increase by approximately 17% on a constant currency basis to EUR 435 million, driven by efficiency measures. Strong cash flow is expected to reduce net debt levels by the end of the year.
