Rebar production in Azerbaijan increased by 85%

According to the latest data from the State Statistics Committee, rebar production in Azerbaijan for January-February this year increased by an impressive 85.1% compared to the same period last year. As a result of this significant growth, 58.5 thousand tonnes of rebar were produced during the period, which undoubtedly indicates the dynamic development of this sector of the metallurgical industry in the country.

This impressive growth can be interpreted as an indicator of the activity and potential of the Azerbaijani market of construction materials. At the same time, it is important to note that as of 1 March this year, there were additional 14,009 tonnes of finished rebar products in the country's warehouses.

However, in addition to the growth of rebar production, there is a decrease in the output of other metallurgical products. Thus, the production of aluminium products in the metallurgical industry in the reporting period decreased by 2.2 times, and the production of metal structures in the field of finished metal products decreased by 14.2%.
