The sources indicated that demand for rebar has been weak and is expected to remain weak for a while, while scrap prices have dropped by around €11 in Poland, which may have a direct impact on rebar prices.

Wire rod, which was traded between €693-715 in January, dropped to €705 in February in Poland. Wire rod import offers from Italy were reportedly at €675-700 per ton CPT.
