Rebar imports in the USA on January 2023 increased by 21% compared to December 2022 and by 29% compared to January 2022, amounted nearly 92,000 tons.
Imports from Algeria amounted to about 34,000 tons, imports from Mexico amounted to 29,100 tons, imports from Turkey amounted to 9,300 tons, and imports from Portugal amounted to 6,400 tons.
The value of imports amounted to 72 million US dollars.
