PPRM commissioned Watania Steel's rebar rolling mill

India-based PPRM has successfully commissioned the high-speed TMT steel bar rolling mill of Watania Steel in Saudi Arabia.

The plant, which has a daily capacity of 1,750 tons, demonstrated its performance with 995 tons of production in a single shift. The annual capacity of the line, which produces in the 10-40 mm diameter range, is 600,000 tons.

India-based Preet Machines Limited (PPRM) announced the successful commissioning of the high-speed TMT (thermo-mechanically treated) steel bar rolling mill of Watania Steel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The new plant has a daily production capacity of 1,750 tons and the performance of the line is remarkable with 995 tons of production achieved in a single shift during the commissioning process. The line, which can reach a speed of 30 meters/second in the production of 10 mm diameter steel bars, can produce different sizes from 10 mm to 40 mm. The total annual production capacity is planned to be 600,000 tons.

India-based PPRM has been providing solutions for bar, coil and profile production lines for the hot rolling mill sector for more than 25 years, including design, engineering, manufacturing, erection and commissioning.
