South Korean steelmaker POSCO had to stop production at its Pohang factory due to fire and flooding caused by Typhoon Hinnamnor.
POSCO announced that the production of slabs and other products will be allocated to the Gwangyang factories until they return to work at the Pohang factories.
Restoration work continues against the damage caused by fire and flood. Operations at the Pohang facilities are expected to resume from September 10.
