Payas iron and steel factories will operate during the holiday

Iron and steel factories in Iskenderun Payas region  will continue production during the Sacrifice Feast. According to the information from the industry, it was heard that MMK Metalurji was not included in this list, while all the factories in the region are actively producing.

Factories other than MMK Metalurji announced to the market representatives that they will not take a break during the holiday. In Payas, which bears a significant part of Turkey's steel production, a moderate market outlook prevailed as the last quarter of the year approached. If the exchange rate balance becomes healthier, it is predicted that there will be an improvement in export volumes.
