Osman Işıkgül appointed Rolling Mills Director at KARDEMİR

Karabük Iron and Steel Factories Inc. (KARDEMİR) announced that Osman Işıkgül has been appointed as the Director of the Rolling Mills.

As of January 2026, Osman Işıkgül assumed his new role, bringing nearly 13 years of experience within the company.

Osman Işıkgül completed his education at Istanbul Technical University, where he earned a Master’s degree in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering between 2010 and 2012.

He began his professional career in 2011 at ADG Pressure Die Casting Industry and Trade Co. Ltd., serving as Quality Control and Production Supervisor, where he gained experience in production and quality management.

Having served at KARDEMİR for nearly 13 years, Osman Işıkgül worked as Chief Operations Engineer of the Bar and Wire Rod Rolling Mill between 2017 and 2020. From 2020 to 2026, he held the position of Bar and Wire Rod Rolling Mill Manager, playing a key role in managing production processes, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing quality standards.

Appointed as Rolling Mills Director as of January 2026, Işıkgül is expected to contribute significantly to KARDEMİR’s production capacity, quality policies, and operational efficiency goals.
