Russia's Novorossiysk Rolling Plant purchased a new wire rolling machine from Danieli.
It has been reported that the Russian Novorossiysk Rolling Plant has booked a new wire rolling machine for its new plant from Italian equipment supplier Danieli.
The new plant was expected to start production in early 2023. The plant will produce low-medium carbon steel and the plant layout is designed for future expansion with the implementation of a billet welder and a reel line. Its annual production will be 600,000 tons.
The new machine is mainly for medium and low carbon steel production. It can produce bright round steels with a diameter of 5.5 to 16 mm and heat annealing rods with a diameter of 6 to 12 mm.
The company hopes it can assist in the future development of new production lines.
