The company announced that iron ore production rose by 42.4% year-on-year to 3.09 million tonnes (MT), compared to 2.17 MT in July 2024.
Iron ore sales also saw a year-on-year increase during the same period. Sales volumes reached 3.46 MT in July 2025, up by 13.07% from 3.06 MT recorded in July 2024.
Looking at regional data, production in the Chhattisgarh region surged by 54.92% year-on-year, reaching 1.89 MT. Sales in the region increased from 1.96 MT in July 2024 to 2.15 MT, marking a 9.69% rise.
The Karnataka division also demonstrated strong growth. Iron ore production in the region increased by 26.32% year-on-year to 1.20 MT, while sales rose by 19.09% from 1.10 MT to 1.31 MT.
Beyond iron ore exploration and production, NMDC is also engaged in diamond mining, sponge iron sales, and wind energy generation and distribution.
On the financial side, NMDC recorded steady growth. The company’s consolidated net profit for Q4 of the 2025 fiscal year rose by 7.9% year-on-year to INR 7,004.59 crore, while revenue increased by 4.6% to INR 1,477.68 crore in the same period.
