The newly determined tariff quota for wire rod imports includes materials used in various manufacturing products, including bolts, nuts, wires and nails. The amount of tariff quota to be applied in each import period was determined as 45 thousand 665 tonnes in total.
The Communiqué of the Ministry of Trade on the Administration of Quotas and Tariff Quotas in Imports was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.
The amount of this quota, which will be valid in every period of additional financial obligation for wire rod products from certain countries, was determined in order to ensure the balance in trade.
Tariff quota requests can be made with electronic signature through the official website of the Ministry of Trade. The amount of tariff quota that can be granted in each import licence will not exceed 200 tonnes.
