MTM Expo 2025: A Fair That Shapes the Future of the Industry
Founded in 1986 as the Shanghai International Metallurgy Industry Expo, MTM Expo has been one of the largest trade platforms in the steel and metallurgy industry for over 30 years. The fair is structured around seven main themes: metallurgy, refractory materials, casting & forging, tube industry, metal wires, industrial furnaces & thermal engineering, and nonferrous metals.
This year’s event will be held under the theme "Ecological Development of the Steel Industry", focusing on the transformation of low-carbon metallurgical processes, the efficient use of clean energy, and the latest trends in green development.
Successful Outcome of the 2024 Event
Last year, MTM Expo was successfully held from December 18-20, 2024, attracting great interest. The event hosted 859 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions and 27,695 visitors from 48 countries and regions. 91.6% of exhibitors expressed satisfaction and stated their intention to participate in the next exhibition.
MTM Expo 2025 to Offer a Larger-Scale Organization
This year, MTM Expo is expected to cover 40,000 m² of exhibition space, host over 1,000 exhibitors, and attract more than 30,000 professional visitors. The registration process has officially begun, inviting industry professionals to explore new opportunities and trends in the steel industry.
