Moscow to Host Major Recycling Industry Gathering: MIR Expo 2026

One of Russia’s most comprehensive recycling industry events, the Moscow International Recycling Expo (MIR Expo) 2026, will take place on April 19–21, 2026, at the PSB Patriot Cosmos Hotels complex near Moscow.

Moscow to Host Major Recycling Industry Gathering: MIR Expo 2026

Organized by RA Rusmet and the NSRO Ruslom.com Association, the event aims to bring together all key stakeholders of the recycling and scrap metal industry.

SteelRadar is an official media partner of MIR Expo 2026.

Event Highlights and Program Overview

Throughout the three-day event, participants will have access to:

  • More than 15 expert sessions, panels, and technical conferences

  • Over 90 speakers, including industry leaders, manufacturers, academics, and regulatory representatives

  • More than 60 exhibition stands, featuring technological solutions, machinery, software, and analytical services

  • A wide range of sector-focused discussions covering ferrous and non-ferrous scrap, electronic waste, plastics, paper, glass, tires, battery recycling, and more

The event expects a strong professional audience: over 1,000 market leaders, including metallurgical companies, scrap trading firms, recycling technology manufacturers, and representatives of regulatory institutions.

Strategic Value for the Sector

Beyond being a traditional trade fair, MIR Expo 2026 serves as a strategic hub where:

  • Global resource management, sustainability, and circular economy topics will be addressed

  • Regulatory updates, industry standards, and government policies will be discussed

  • New technologies and digital solutions supporting the sector’s transformation will be introduced

  • International networking and partnership opportunities will be strengthened

Why It Matters

With the growing global demand for recycling, raw material imbalances, climate commitments, and the push toward sustainable production, scrap metal and waste management have become central topics in industrial planning. MIR Expo 2026 is set to become a critical platform that connects technology, capital, regulation, and collaboration.
