Minister Kacir: We will strengthen Türkiye's position in the steel industry

In a post on his social media account, Kacır stated that at the High Consultative Meeting of the Turkish Steel Producers Association, they discussed ideas and projects that will move the sector forward.

Minister Kacır noted the following:

“We are taking steps to further strengthen the capabilities of our country, which is among the world's leading steel producers, in this field. We have determined our comprehensive road map that will accelerate the adaptation of the sector in the digital and green transformation process. We are updating our incentives and introducing new support mechanisms. We are determined to increase high value-added and qualified steel production and to give a strong impetus to our industry with stainless steel investment. With our domestic and national production approach, we will continue our industrial development with determination and add strength to Türkiye's power in the steel industry.”
