Mexico's finished steel imports increased in November last year

In November 2023, Mexico's finished steel imports totaled nearly 1 million tons, increased by 31.9% y-o-y.

US was the largest source of imports and exports

Imports to the US were about 319,000 tons, to South Korea about 167,000 tons, to Japan about 124,000 tons and to China about 102,000 tons.

Exports in the same period amounted to approximately 255,000 tons. The USA had the largest share in total exports with 203,000 tons.
