Ho Chi Minh City, August 2, 2024 - RX Tradex Vietnam, as the organizer of “METALEX Vietnam 2024”, in cooperation with Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) and Ho Chi Minh City Supporting Industries Development Center (CSID), will organize “Supporting Industry Show 2024”. This event will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) on October 2-4, 2024, coinciding with the “METALEX Vietnam 2024” exhibition. By showcasing the latest machinery, innovative technologies and metalworking solutions, the event aims to build business connections between businesses in Vietnam, Japan and around the world.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Vu Trong Tai, General Director of RX Tradex Vietnam, said Vietnam is implementing innovative policies to accelerate production and integrate into the global supply chain. The UN's 6.0% growth forecast for 2024 and the World Bank's ranking of Vietnam 68th in the Ease of Doing Business Index highlighted that Vietnam is attracting new investments in high-tech sectors.
Mr. Matsumoto Nobuyuki, JETRO Representative in Ho Chi Minh City, said that Japanese companies' investment in Vietnam is increasing and Japan is the 3rd largest investor in Vietnam. He also noted that the localization rate of Japanese companies is increasing.
“Supporting Industry Show 2024” will strengthen cooperation between Vietnamese and Japanese businesses, provide local SMEs with access to Japanese technologies and increase their production capacity. This year, JETRO will distribute various information books and expand trade negotiations during the fair.
Co-organized by RX Tradex Vietnam, JETRO, ITPC and CSID, this event aims to strengthen Vietnam's place on the industrial map.
