A Critical Year for Russian Metallurgy
According to A. Efimov, General Director of Metal-Expo LLC, “The industry is undergoing consolidation, and the market structure is changing. This affects everything from corporate development plans to procurement and sales strategies. The need for professional dialogue is greater than ever.”
In 2025, the Russian steel industry is tasked with implementing large-scale investment programs, launching new production capacities, and increasing the output of high value-added products, while adapting to volatile pricing, rising costs, and evolving export dynamics.
A Strategic Location and Modern Venue
The Expoforum center, located near Pulkovo Airport and the new Moscow-St. Petersburg highway, offers excellent accessibility and modern infrastructure, including hotels, business lounges, and spacious halls on a single-level layout—facilitating convenient navigation for both exhibitors and visitors.
Over the past three decades, Metal-Expo has become a central platform for building partnerships and addressing critical challenges in the metallurgical industry. In its 31st edition, the event promises to further strengthen that role—this time in Saint Petersburg, a city with a rich industrial heritage and strategic relevance for the sector.
The Metal-Expo 2025 organizing committee invites professionals, manufacturers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to join this landmark event and contribute to shaping the future of metallurgy.
