Mehmet Nuri Güngördü, who most recently served as Sales Manager at POSCO International Corp., has assumed the role of Marketing Manager at Tatmetal.
Güngördü managed export processes from Türkiye to EMEA and North America, as well as supply processes from Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, and China to Türkiye and Greece between October 2020 and March 2026. He was also responsible for projects in the white goods and automotive/OEM sectors and led business development activities for CR, GI, PPGI, and tinplate products in Greece.
In a post announcing his departure from POSCO, Mehmet Nuri Güngördü stated: “After 5.5 years, I am completing my tenure at POSCO International today. The experiences I gained, the responsibilities I undertook, and the challenges we overcame together have been a valuable professional journey for me. I would like to thank all my colleagues and managers with whom I had the opportunity to work. I wish the team success in the upcoming period.”
Previously, Güngördü served as Senior Overseas Sales Specialist and Export Sales Specialist at Tosyalı Toyo, where he gained experience in customer management, export sales, and technical support processes in the EU market. He also worked as an Export Sales Representative at Macromet Metal ve Dış Ticaret Ltd. Şti., handling sales and customer management activities in the fields of rebar, wire rod, and HRC products. Güngördü began his career as an intern at Tosyalı Demir Çelik, where he had the opportunity to examine rolling and galvanizing processes.
Having started his new role as Marketing Manager at Tatmetal, Güngördü will continue his efforts to strengthen the company’s position in the domestic market while expanding international sales and business development activities.
