Speaking at the general assembly, Association Chairman Yalçın Ertan stated that 2025 was a challenging year for the sector, noting that weak demand, supply pressure, and increasing protectionist tendencies were influential. Ertan emphasized that a more cautious approach was adopted during this period, adding that the sector exceeded its targets with exports of $2.59 billion, but the capacity utilization rate at 62% remained below its potential.
With Mehmet Fatih Uysal, who has been serving as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Association since 2020, being elected as chairman, sector representatives expect an acceleration in efforts focused on production efficiency, technology investments, and sustainability in the new period.
Founded by Nedim Uysal and currently operating under the leadership of Mehmet Fatih Uysal, Norm Holding has approximately 3,800 employees and consists of 23 companies operating in 10 different sectors, along with 22 production facilities.
