Major contraction in Türkiye's rod exports! Decreased by 40% in 10 months

According to the information obtained by SteelRadar from the Türkiye Statistical Institute (TUIK) data, Türkiye's rod exports in October decreased by 21% compared to the same month of the previous year and by 28% compared to the previous month.

Türkiye's rod exports, which were 40,469 tons in October 2022, decreased by 21% to 317,331 tons in the same month of this year.

While total exports were 5,221,435 tons in the January-October period of last year, this figure decreased by 40.9% to 3,091,191 tons in the same period this year.

In the January-October period of last year, the highest exports were recorded in March, while the lowest exports were recorded in July. In the same period this year, the highest exports were seen in September, while the lowest exports were in April.
