Nickel futures price rose more than $600/ton to over $27,600/ton. Meanwhile, nickel spot price was up $604/ton to close at $27,496/ton. At the same time, nickel stocks in the LME increased 1,002 tons to 53,124 tons.
The nickel price was expected to rise as the US dollar depreciated and restrictions in China eased.
