The new regulation entered into force as of its publication date, and the authority for its implementation was assigned to the Minister of Trade. The communiqué also abolished the previous decisions issued in 2025.
Among the companies in the iron and steel sector granted this status are Ereğli Demir ve Çelik Fabrikaları, İskenderun Demir ve Çelik, İzmir Demir Çelik, and Kocaer Çelik.
Other industrial and manufacturing companies include Arçelik, Aselsan, Akçansa, Anadolu Isuzu, Balsu Gıda, Borusan Boru, Brisa, Çimsa, Ford Otosan, Jantsa, Otokar, Pergamon Status Dış Ticaret, Petkim, Sarkuysan, Sasa Dış Ticaret A.Ş., Tofaş, Türk Traktör, and Tüpraş.
The Ministry of Trade stated that with this regulation, Türkiye has shifted to a higher gear in exports, enabling companies to become more effective in international markets and contributing significantly to the country’s export-led growth strategy.
