Rommel, who joined Heraeus in 2021, led the global Sales and Marketing organization during that period, working in collaboration with teams worldwide to strengthen customer relationships and spearheading the implementation of innovative projects. In a statement following his appointment, Rommel said: “By working more closely with our partners and customers, we aim to encourage sustainable growth, accelerate innovation, and reinforce Heraeus Electro-Nite’s position as a trusted leader in the molten metals industry.”
Throughout his career, Koen Rommel held senior sales and marketing positions within Bosch for many years. With experience gained in various management positions in Germany, the Netherlands, and China, he specialized in strategic sales and business development in global markets. At Bosch, Rommel managed international operations, strengthened customer relationships, and led growth-oriented projects as sales director for the EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions.
In his new role, Rommel will implement Heraeus Electro-Nite’s innovation-oriented growth targets, develop global sales and marketing strategies, and consolidate the company's leadership in the field of measurement technologies in the molten metals sector.
