Kocaer Steel broke production record in April

Kocaer Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. demonstrated a strong sales performance in April with orders totaling USD 55 million (55,089,081). Most of the orders received in April consisted of value-added products.

While a significant portion of the orders came from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, there was also a significant contribution from other markets such as the Americas, Europe, Africa and Türkiye.

The order amount announced by Kocaer corresponds to approximately 10% of the company's consolidated turnover for 2024.

The official statement on the subject included the following statements:

“As of April 2025, our company reached the highest monthly production level in its history, breaking a record with 61,112 tons of production. This amount indicates an increase of approximately 11% compared to the highest monthly production of 55,007 tons recorded in 2024.

As part of our strategies focused on value-added product production, overhaul and new machinery-equipment investments at two of our three steel profile plants in Aliağa were completed in the last two years, and the performance optimization processes following these investments were successfully concluded. As a result of these efforts, a significant increase in operational efficiency was achieved in these facilities by 2025, and significant increases were realized in production capacity and quantities compared to previous periods.

In line with our goal of transforming most of our capacity into high value-added products, 5 new value-added products were commissioned in the first four months of 2025, and 9 more new value-added products are planned to be commissioned by the end of the year. Thus, a total of 14 new products are expected to be commissioned by the end of 2025.”
