Koç Metalurji's profit increased

The company, which made a net profit of 40 million TL (40,977,755 TRY) in the first 6 months of 2023, made a total net profit of 131 million TL (131,341,632 TRY) between January 1 - June 30, 2024. Thus, an increase of 220% was achieved. In addition, the company's net profit in the second quarter period alone was recorded as 58 million TL (58,256,811 TL).

However, Koç Metalurji's revenue for the second quarter of 2024 decreased by 26% compared to the same period of the previous year. The company's operating profit lost 52%.

In the second quarter of 2023, Koç Metalurji's sales decreased to TRY7 trillion (TRY7,254,622,681) and this year to TRY5 trillion (TRY5,340,245,786). Operating profit also decreased from 599 million TL (599,234,708 TL) last year to 286 million TL (286,643,713 TL) in 2024.
