Kıraç Galvaniz, one of the leading companies in the galvanizing sector, opened the doors of its new production facility in Bozüyük Organized Industrial Zone in Bilecik with an investment of more than TRY 1 billion 350 million.
Built on an area of approximately 54 thousand square meters, the 30 thousand square meter closed production facility features many innovative technologies ranging from robotic welding systems to energy efficiency-oriented infrastructures. It is also noteworthy that the facility is designed to serve different sectors. It is aimed to produce a wide range of products such as highway safety, energy infrastructures, solar systems and military protection systems.
“We are not only producing, we are building the future”
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the facility, Serkan Malçok, General Manager of Kıraç Galvaniz, emphasized that sustainability is a fundamental value in the company's production approach. “Since the day we were founded, we have focused not only on production but also on building a responsible and environmentally friendly industrial culture. The facility we are inaugurating here today is a concrete reflection of this vision,” stated Malçok.
Stating that the new facility was designed with the principle of zero waste, Malçok noted that many environmentally friendly applications ranging from a 250-ton rainwater collection system to solar energy infrastructure, from equipment suitable for electric vehicles to digital production monitoring solutions have been implemented. In addition, advanced engineering applications such as artificial intelligence-supported surface analysis systems and smart coating technologies will also be commissioned.
Capacity increases 2.5 times, export target 70%
Kıraç Galvaniz's new investment is expected to not only transform the industrial profile of Bozüyük OIZ, but also make a significant contribution to the regional economy. According to Serkan Malçok, the company plans to increase its production capacity by 250% in the next three years. It aims to increase its export rate, which is currently 40%, to 70%. The R&D budget is also planned to be increased to 10 %.
R&D center and green metal vision
With the R&D center to be established within the new facility, studies on carbon neutral production, smart coating solutions and sustainable metal technologies will be carried out. “We want to make a difference both in Türkiye and in the international market with the projects we develop with our local engineering capability,” stated Malçok, underlining that the investment in Bozüyük is not only a production move, but also an investment in knowledge and technology.
New plant in Kazakhstan, US market next in line
Kıraç Galvaniz's growth targets go beyond the borders of Türkiye. The company, which has completed the certification process to establish a new production facility in Kazakhstan following its offices currently operating in Georgia and Romania, plans to open offices in Bulgaria, Poland and Italy. The US market is also among its 2025-2026 targets. Malçok stated that they aim to spread their environmentally friendly production approach to Central Europe, Central Asia and the Americas with the concept of “green metal”.
