Within the scope of the signed memorandum of understanding, the parties agreed to engage in joint business development activities and strengthen operational cooperation in the fields of defense and information technologies. The partnership aims to produce integrated solutions based on high technology in both military and civilian fields.

Şevket Ünal, Deputy General Manager of HAVELSAN, reminded that last year they made sales to a European Union country for the first time and offered high-tech products in the field of e-maritime to Romania, and stated: "The ongoing business negotiations and opportunities in the Romanian market can pave the way for new projects. In this context, the memorandum of understanding we have signed with Karel Europe opens the door to possible new military and civilian projects in Romania."

As Karel Europe, we aim to develop high value-added solutions for the Romanian defense industry by combining Karel's engineering strength in the field of communication and electronic systems with HAVELSAN's software-intensive solutions."
