A significant change took place at the board of Karabük Demir Çelik Fabrikaları (KARDEMİR). Chairman of the board İsmail Demir stepped down from his position, and board member Muhammet Ali Oflaz was appointed as his successor.
In its statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), KARDEMİR emphasized: “Due to the resignation of our Chairman of the Board of Directors İsmail Demir, our board member Muhammet Ali Oflaz has been elected as the new chairman.”
Oflaz has served as a board member at KARDEMİR since 2020. He was also a member of the executive board between 2023-2024, deputy chairman and member of the board at the subsidiary KARDÖKMAK between 2021-2024, and a board member at another subsidiary KARÇEL in 2024.
