Karabük Iron and Steel (Kardemir) Chairman of the Board of Directors Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir announced that the company has achieved record production by increasing efficiency and is steadily moving towards its production target of 3 million tons.
Thanking the employees for showing that Kardemir can reach these levels without straining its capacity, Demir stated that they make 72 castings per day with 120-ton converters.
In a statement made through Kardemir's social media account, it was stated: "Our Chairman of the Board, Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir: We are marching towards the 3 million-ton target with record productions. By increasing efficiency in our company, we have achieved record production by performing 72 casts daily with our 120-ton converters. We thank all our employees who have demonstrated that 3 million tons of production can be achieved without additional investments."
