Kaptan Demir Çelik started wire rod production in its new rolling mill in Marmara Ereğlisi

Kaptan Demir Çelik, a Turkish steel producer, has started wire rod production at its new rolling mill in Marmara Ereglisi, Türkiye.

The mill, delivered in partnership between Primetals Technologies and POMINI Long Rolling Mills, has an annual production capacity of 650,000 tons. The mill will produce high-value products like carbon steel, special bar quality steel, and austenitic stainless steel to meet engineering and automotive industry demands.
