Economists’ expectations for the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increase in June were 1.53% monthly, with an annual inflation expectation of 35.26%. Additionally, economists’ inflation forecast for the end of 2025 was recorded at 30.41%.
In May, the CPI rose by 1.53% month-on-month, while annual inflation stood at 35.41%.
Among the main expenditure groups, the highest annual increase was observed in housing prices. Housing prices increased by 65.54%, while food and non-alcoholic beverages rose by 30.20%, and transportation by 27.72%. The contributions of these groups to annual inflation were calculated as 9.22% for housing, 7.60% for food and non-alcoholic beverages, and 4.51% for transportation, respectively.
On a monthly basis, food and non-alcoholic beverages decreased by 0.27%, while transportation increased by 2.38%, and housing by 2.62%. The effects of these changes on monthly inflation were -0.07 points for food and non-alcoholic beverages, 0.36 points for transportation, and 0.43 points for housing.
In June, prices of 26 out of 143 basic consumption items fell, prices of 5 items remained unchanged, and 112 items saw price increases.
The special CPI excluding unprocessed food products, energy, alcoholic beverages and tobacco, and gold rose by 34.62% annually, with a monthly increase of 1.76%.
The Domestic Producer Price Index (D-PPI) increased by 2.46% compared to the previous month in June and rose by 24.45% on an annual basis. The 12-month average increase was 28.34%.
