JSW Steel's crude steel output increased by 11% y-o-y in November

JSW Steel announced that its consolidated crude steel production for November reached 2.20 million tons (MT), an increase of 11% compared to the same period last year.

In November last year, the company's consolidated crude steel production was recorded at 1.94 MT and this year it has experienced significant growth.

JSW Steel's Indian subsidiaries produced 2.11 MT of steel in November, a 7% increase on the 1.970 MT recorded in the same period last year. This production figure includes JSW Ispat

Special Products Ltd (JISPL) and its subsidiary Mivaan Steels Ltd. The capacity utilization rate of the Indian operations stood at 90% for the month of November.

JSW Steel reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 2.773 billion for the July-September quarter on higher revenue. In the same quarter of the previous fiscal year, the company posted a loss of Rs 915 billion. Total revenue in the second quarter of the current fiscal year rose to Rs 44.821 billion compared to Rs 41.966 billion in the same period a year earlier.
