Japan increases billet exports

According to the statistics, Japan's billet exports amounted to approximately 261,000 tons in April, up 2.1% from the previous month.

Among these, exports to South Korea took the largest share with 108,500 tons, followed by the supply to Taiwan with 72,400 tons.

In the first four months of this year, Japan exported a total of approximately 992,600 tons of billet, down 7% from the same period of the previous year.
