İsdemir invests TL 2.5 billion in a solar power plant

İsdemir's new investment, a subsidiary of OYAK, will be built in Karaali, Eyyübiye district, Şanlıurfa. The electricity generated will be used to offset the company's energy consumption. The plant will be constructed on a 171-hectare site and will be equipped with a total of 338,202 solar panels with a power of 550 Wp each. Additionally, 27 inverters with a capacity of 5000 kW will be used.

The plant is expected to generate approximately 292 million kWh of electricity annually. The generated electricity will be connected to the Pekmezli Transformer Center via a 154 kV 1272 MCM ~15 km electric transmission line and to the Erdemir Şanlıurfa SPP Transformer Center via a 154 kV 1272 MCM ~0.5 km EİH.
