The Competition Authority announced that the application process for the takeover of Ateş Çelik, which was established in 2013, has been completed.
According to the announcement, İş Enerji, Clean Energy Venture Capital Investment Fund under the management of Maxis Venture Capital, Atlas Growth Capital Venture Capital Investment Fund and Türkiye Green Finance Project Venture Capital Investment Fund took over the partnership control of Ateş Çelik, which was established to produce bolts, nuts and fasteners for wind turbines.
This partnership is expected to increase wind turbine production capacity in Türkiye.
Established in 2022 within the İşbank Group, İş Enerji has attracted attention by adding more than 1,000 MW of installed capacity to its portfolio in a short period of time.
12 years of experience
Operating in the sector for 12 years, Ateş Çelik has reached a capacity to meet the needs of 1,500 MW of installed capacity. In addition to the production of tower foundation ring, tower foundation cage, steel internal components and tower propulsion equipment, the company has also gained an important place in the sector with the production of direct-drive generators since 2018.
