Iron ore futures in Singapore fell as much as 12% in Asian trade to a two-month low (12%) amid concerns over the outbreak in China.
Futures were down 7.9% at $138.90 a ton as of 07:38 in the morning.
Residents in Beijing's Chaoyang district have been told to take a three-day Covid test from Monday in an effort to stave off a string of cases in the area.
