A dumping investigation started against "non-rolled hot rolled flat steel" products originating from the Republic of Korea.

Dumping investigation started on Korean steel imports

The Ministry of Trade published the Communiqué on Prevention of Unfair Competition in Imports in the Official Gazette.

Procedures and principles of the opening of a dumping investigation for non-rolled hot-rolled flat steel (thick plate) originating from the Republic of Korea and the procedures and principles of the investigation were determined.

According to the published regulation, the domestic producer application made by Ereğli Demir ve Çelik Fabrikaları T.A.Ş. was considered. As a result of the examinations, it was determined that there is the necessary information, documents and evidence for a dumping investigation.

With the decision of the Board of Assessment of Unfair Competition in Imports, it was decided to initiate a dumping investigation against the product originating from South Korea within the framework of Article 20 of the Regulation. It was stated that this decision was taken in order to ensure fair trade conditions and protect domestic producers.
