Indonesia to impose AD duties on China, Taiwan and South Korea

Indonesia will impose anti-dumping (AD) duties on tin-coated flat-rolled products originating in China, Taiwan and South Korea from 14 October 2024 until 2029.

These products include flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel, coated or uncoated with tin. The AD tax rate will range from 4.4% to 7.9% and will be on top of existing general import taxes and other duties. Market participants in Taiwan state that the impact of this measure on Taiwan is limited as Taiwan is not a member of ASEAN and exports to ASEAN countries are exempt from customs taxes.
