Indonesia extends AD tax on 7 countries

Indonesia announced the continued imposition of anti-dumping (AD) duties on imported HRC steel products from seven countries.

The Indonesian Ministry of Finance has announced the continuation of the anti-dumping (AD) duty on HRC products from China, India, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Taiwan, Thailand and Belarus on December 31, 2024.

The anti-dumping duty rates range from 0-20% for China, 12.95-20% for India, 5.58-20% for Russia, 5.58-20% for Kazakhstan, 5.58-20% for Belarus, 0-20% for Taiwan and 7.52-20% for Thailand.

This extension will take effect from January 15, 2025 and will be valid for five years until January 14, 2030.

The products subject to tax cover hot rolled, uncoated or uncoated flat rolled iron or non-alloy steel products with a width of 600 mm or more, falling under the HS codes 7208.10.00, 7208.25.00, 7208.26.00, 7208.27.11, 7208.27.19, 7208.27.91, 7208.27.99, 7208.36.00, 7208.37.00, 7208.38.00, 7208.39.10, 7208.39.20, 7208.39.30. In addition, products with codes 7208.39.40, 7208.39.90, old 7208.90.10, old 7208.90.20 and old 7208.90.90 are also subject to this tax application.
