In November, India's steel exports fell sharply to the lowest level in the 2021-2022 fiscal year. The main reason for such a phenomenon was the falling international steel prices, which has definitely reduced the competitiveness of Indian offers.
On the other hand, weak domestic demand in India also caused steel imports to enter a downward trend.
Statistics showed that India exported a total of 721,500 tons of finished steel (including alloy steel and non-alloy steel) in November, down 32% from the previous month, up 20.7% from the same period last year.
