Indian HRC export prices decreased

It was reported earlier this week that a private steelmaker has reserved 20,000 t HRC (S275) for export to Europe for late May or early June delivery. The deal was concluded at $1,150/ton CFR Italy, down from the $1,200-1,250/ton CFR valuation earlier this week. Offers from India have come under pressure due to competitive offers from other countries such as China and low offers from the EU amid full credit lines.
