Rebar prices, which started to fall in the last week of November with the abolition of Indian steel export duty, rose again in the last week of December.
Sources reported that the demand for finished steel has increased over the past few days.
Indian domestic rebar prices, which were at $620 in mid-November, dropped to $595 within a week. Rebar prices, which had risen to $625 levels again as of December, rose to $635 levels this week.
