India imposes anti-dumping duty on stainless steel pipes imported from China

The government has imposed an anti-dumping duty on stainless steel seamless pipes imported from China for a period of five years to eliminate the "damage" to the domestic industry.

The government declaration published in the Official Gazette states, "Anti-dumping duty imposed under this notification shall be valid for a period of five years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette (unless previously cancelled or amended) and shall be payable in Indian currency."
