According to data from the Brazilian National Institute of Steel Distributors (INDA), flat steel sales by Brazilian distributors in January amounted to about 330,000 tons, up 25% on the previous month and 6% on January 2022.
The purchase volume increased by 25.9% on a monthly basis and by 7.8% on a yearly basis, reaching approximately 345,000 tons. Stocks increased by approximately 1.7% on a monthly basis, reaching around 894,000 tons.
