Hunger and poverty limit for January was revealed

According to the 'Hunger and Poverty Limit January 2024 Period Report' of the Birleşik Metal-İş Class Research Center (BİSAM), the hunger limit for a family of four surpassed 15 thousand TL.

While the poverty line reached 51 thousand 998 liras, the money required for a person living alone was 23 thousand 914 liras.

The poverty limit reached 52 thousand liras

According to the report, the monthly value of the nutrients that an adult man needs to consume for a healthy and balanced diet is 4 thousand 127 TL, while it is 3 thousand 979 TL for an adult woman.

For a young person aged 15-18, 4 thousand 200 TL and for a child aged 4-6, 2 thousand 727 TL is required.

In the report, it was pointed out that 15 thousand 33 TL is mandatory for a healthy diet for a total of one month, "The amount of expenditures that a family should make together with expenses such as education, health, housing, entertainment, heating, transportation reached 51 thousand 998 TL."
