Starting the week of February 5 with an increase of €0.78, iron ore prices increased from €119.34 to €120.12. SteelRadar data, however, showed that prices were last recorded at €117.77 on February 7.
According to the latest updates, iron ore prices in Germany increased by a total of €2.11 to €119.88 on February 8, close to the price at the start of the week. Sources expect the downward trend seen in Europe to follow a similar pattern in the US, but the overall slightly upward trend is likely to continue.
