Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), a state-owned steel producer in India, reported that its hot metal production at Blast Furnace-1 and Blast Furnace-2 for the current financial year (1 April - 31 December 2022) was 2.12 million tonnes and 2.2 million tonnes respectively.
In December, RINL achieved a total sales turnover of Rs 2,508 crore, the best ever monthly performance.
In this financial year, RINL also achieved another milestone in its endeavour to continue its leadership in the field of energy conservation. The company was awarded the "National Energy Leader" award by CII (Sohrabji Godrej Centre for Green Business) for four consecutive years.
