The facility established in Tay Ninh Province (formerly part of Long An) is located in a strategic area that connects Ho Chi Minh City with the Mekong Delta provinces, aiming to enhance the company’s production and distribution capacity in both the domestic and export markets.
With a total investment of VND 2.6 trillion and covering an area of 15 hectares, the factory manufactures a range of products including black steel pipes, galvanized steel pipes, hot-dip galvanized steel pipes, and extra-large diameter steel pipes. Production processes are carried out in compliance with international standards such as ASTM, BS EN, and JIS.
Nguyen Van Tuan, Director of Hoa Phat Long An Steel Products Joint Stock Company, stated that the opening of the factory is a strategic step to meet the growing demand in the southern region and to strengthen export capacity.
“We will continue to deliver the highest quality products through our investments in technology and human resources, further reinforcing the reputation of Hoa Phat steel pipes in construction projects.”
The plant’s modern production line significantly improves quality and efficiency compared to previous technologies. In addition, more than half of the facility’s electricity demand is supplied by a 10 MW rooftop solar power system installed at the factory, contributing to environmental sustainability goals.
With its new production capacity, Hoa Phat Long An’s steel pipes are expected to be used in numerous infrastructure and transportation projects, including Long Thanh and Phu Quoc airports, Tan Son Nhat Terminal T3, Quang Tri Airport, the APEC Phu Quoc Convention Center, Rach Gia underground infrastructure projects, and the Saigon Pedestrian Bridge.
With the launch of the factory, Hoa Phat aims to further strengthen its leadership in Vietnam’s steel pipe market, where it currently holds a 31.2% market share, while also expanding its export opportunities.
