Gazprom's natural gas exports fell more than 40%

According to the statement made by Gazprom, the natural gas production of the company in the 9 months of the year decreased by 17.1% compared to the same period of the previous year, to 313.3 billion cubic meters.

In the said period, the company's natural gas exports to countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) decreased by 40.4% compared to the same period of the previous year, and amounted to 86.9 billion cubic meters.

In the statement, it was stated that gas shipments to China via the Power of Siberia pipeline continued to increase, and it was stated that the daily shipment record was broken twice in September.

In the statement, it was noted that the highest level of occupancy rate in underground natural gas storage facilities in Europe does not guarantee a reliable passing of the autumn-winter period.

It was stated in the statement that the global natural gas demand fell by 40 billion cubic meters in 9 months of the year, and that the EU and the UK had a 90% share in the global demand decline with 35 billion cubic meters.
